What medical astrology is, and how it helps.
Medical astrology is one of the oldest branches of medicine. For centuries, before modern labs, physicians read the birth chart as a map of the body: a picture of your constitution, your strengths, and the places most likely to need support. I use it alongside 27 years of clinical nursing, never instead of it, to understand the whole person rather than a list of symptoms.
Your constitutional blueprint
Your natal chart maps your elemental balance and humoral temperament, where your body tends to run hot or cold, dry or damp, and which systems carry the load. It is a starting picture of how you are built, not a prediction of what will happen.
Patterns, not predictions
Medical astrology reads tendencies. It shows where imbalance is most likely to gather, so we can support those areas early. Predisposition is not predestination. You cannot change a pattern you have not yet seen, and seeing it is where healing begins.
Read alongside the clinical picture
I bring the chart together with your history, your nervous system, your nutrition and your labs. The astrology adds a constitutional lens; the nursing keeps it grounded in evidence. Together they build a fuller picture than either gives alone.
Why bring astrology into health at all?
Because two people with the same diagnosis are rarely the same person. Your constitution shapes how you fall ill, how you recover, and what will actually help. Medical astrology gives that individuality a language, a way to see the person the symptoms belong to. It is educational and observational, a lens for self-knowledge, and self-knowledge is the ground everything else is built on.
Hippocrates is said to have held that a physician without astrology had no right to call himself a physician. I read it as an instruction to treat the whole person, in their own particular pattern, which is exactly what I try to do.
